Print Udupi : Almighty God was moved only by devotion and not by offerings of gold or other precious metals. The devotees of God did such offerings for their own satisfaction, said Sri. Vishwesha Theetha Swamiji of Pejawar Math.
In his presiding address during the inauguration of religious and cultural programmes in relate fo the dedication ceremony of Suvarna Gopura of Sri Krishna Temple here at Rajanagana on Friday, May 31, Pejawar Swami said that people should not become self-centered, but should accept what the almighty God provided them freely.
He praised the Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Palimar Math for his great devotion on Lord Krishna. Paryaya Palimar Math swamiji has been great devotion to Lord Krishna and therefore he succeeded to construing the Brahat Suvarna Gopura of Sri Krishna Temple, he said.
The cultural and religious programme was inaugurated by Satytma Theertha Swami of Uttaradi Math. In his inaugural address, Satytama Theertha Swami praised the work of Sri Vidyadheesha Swami of Palimar Math in relate to constructing Suvarna Gopura of Sri Krishna Temple.
Sri Ishapriya Theertha Swami, Junior seer of Admar Math and Sri Vidyarajeshwara Theertha Swami, Junior seer of Palimar math were present during the occasion.
