Print Udupi : More than ten street dogs were poisoned to death in the city near Mandovi Emerald building at Manipal .
While eight stray dogs were seen battling for the life outside the Mandovi Emerald building here in the city on Monday night, two were reportedly found outside Mandovi Soverign building.
Animal Rights Activist Babitha Madhwaraj told that a CCTV footage shows a man coming on a bike and feeding fish laced with poison to these local dogs. She feels that it must be some section of people who felt that these stray dogs can be a threat to them.
A complaint will be soon registered by Babitha Madhwaraj in connection to this case. We will take up the issue and make sure that the culprit is booked, Babitha Madhwaraj said.
