Udupi : Billava Seva Sangha (Reg), Santhekatte, Kallianpura along with Mahila Unit organized ‘Aatid Onji Dina’ at Thonse Nagappa Complex Hall, Santhekatte, Kallianpur on Sunday, July 28, 2019

The Aatid Onje Dina fantastic occasion was inaugurated by Shyam K Poojary, Proprietor of Madhuvan Hotel, Santhekatte with lighting the lamp. Shekar Gujjarbettu President of Billava Seva Sangha was presided over the programme.

Suryodaya Parempalli, noted actor, producer and director was the chief guest. Sudhakar D Amin, Gudde Garodimane, Pangala was the resource person. Janardhan Thonse member of Zilla Panchayat Udupi, B. N. Earlier the programme began with invocation prayers. Shekar Gujjarbettu welcomed the gatherings and Niranjan and others compered the programme.

Prizes were distributed to various winners in different games during the occasion by the guests on the dais. Jagadish Kemmannu Secretary proposed vote of thanks.

The Aatid Onji Dina celebrated with traditionally that the guests were welcomed by offering ‘Pelakayida Gatti and Jeerigeda Kasaya. Aatid the Attil were displayed which prepared by the community women. The various maximum good taste of varieties like Timare Chetney, Uppad Pachhir, Takkareda Talli, Uppad, Thevu Padphe, Kanaleda Gasi, Kanchalada Gasi, Thojank, Nurge soppu, Narvolu thoppuda Dosa, pathrade, Chilmida Adde, Pundi, Gunda, Kudutha Urunde, Kudutha Chetney, Appade Adde, Nungelettida Chetney, Maduvai sukka, Korida Sukka, Urpelarida nuppu, Ettida Sar, Aritha urunde, Kudutha Urunde, payasha, rasham, Kadale Gashi, Mulka and other items were prepared.

Large numbers of community people were participated during the occasion and enjoyed the Aatid Onji Dina with traditions and culture.
