Udupi: There should be adequate utilization of resources available for the holistic development of the district. In this regard, the decision to form the Udupi District Tourism Task Force to develop the Udupi tourism industry was taken at a district progress review meeting held on Friday, September 27.

Addressing the district progress review meeting held at the Udupi District Panchayat Dr. VS Acharya Auditorium, Basavaraja Bommai, Minister of Housing and Udupi District, said that the District Tourism Task Force is being created with the view that the district should be given a special tourism view. Hence, Officials, local experts, Tourism field experts, entrepreneurs, investors are the part of the Task Force. He added that the Vision Document of Tourism in all the Taluk’s tourist destinations will be recruited.

Therefore, the officials should work without hesitation in providing the services of the district and instruct them to act promptly without delay in delivering any service. Minister Basavaraja Bommai advised all departmental officials that Udupi is a role model for other districts and should respond immediately to the problems of the people with the intention of making the people good.
