Udupi: The alternate darbar is scheduled to be held at the upcoming Sri Krishna Mutt Paryaya  inaugural occasion at 3 pm instead of the morning around 2am of January 18, which will enable all devotees to view the alternate darbar, said Sri Ishapriya Theertha Swamiji, Junior Pontiff of upcoming Paryaya Admar Mutt of Sri Krishna Asta Mutt.

He was speaking at a meeting of the Preliminary Consultation meeting at Udupi Puram Pragya Auditorium on Saturday, October 5, 2019  at the Udupi Arumara Mutt here. This is a decision taken by devotees who are tired of witnessing an alternate procession and wanting to rest and worship Swamiji. All the pontiffs agreed to this.

In the alternative period, the emphasis on the use of natural materials will be reduced to a complete reduction in the use of plastic. Devotees will be made aware of this. The banana leaf for dinner is already planted in a 10-acre plot of Chara village. Swamiji said that this time the alternative is to be carried out in conjunction with the festival.

On account of Paryaya celebrations’ Hore Kanike (Eatable procession) every once in fifteen days will be held as earlier paryaya times only Hore Kanike procession was In practice will be changed. Junior Swamiji of Admar Mutt said that it will be make comfortable for the offerings for Sri Krishna.

He informed that all devotees without any political party or religion or caste and creed, the Paryaya celebrations will be held in order to make celebrations with success and meaningful.

Speaking of at the end, Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji Senior Pontiff of Admar Mutt said that some of the new ideas taken for the next upcoming Paryaya season with some changes in the celebrations. He announced that his disciple Ishapriya Theertha Swamiji will undertake Krishna Seva, indicating that he will be ascending Admaru Paryaya. Senior Swamiji said that his predecessor Sri Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji had given him a chance from 2004 to 2006 in previous Paryaya of Admar Mutt when he was a junior pontiff to do Krishna Seva. This upcoming paryaya I will give a chance to his junior Ishapriya Theertha Swami who I believe is like my son to do Krishna Seva and he has put in many thoughts.  Devotees can worship Lord Krishna for the entire year by carrying a 15-day load.

Udupi – Chickmagaluru parliamentary member Shobha Karandlaje, Udupi MLA K. Raghupathi Bhat, former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, Pramod Madhvaraj, senior BJP leader A G Kodgi spoke during the occasion and offered their support for the upcoming paryaya celebrations.

Sri Krishna Seva President M. B. Puranik spoke keynote address and welcomed the gatherings. Retired Principal Dr Jagdish Shetty compered the programme. Large number of devotees of Sri Krishna, various political and social leaders, thinkers and others were participated during the occasion.
