Udupi: Young girls and boys are the foundation of majestic India. The National Youth Volunteer Admissions Training Program plays an important role in educating young people and young women on value-based issues, said Sheela K Shetty, Vice President of District Panchayat.
She was speaking at the inauguration of the 15-day National Youth Volunteers Entrance Training Program at the Udupi Brahmagiri Campus on Wednesday, October 23 under the auspices of the National Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry, Nehru Youth Center, Bangalore, Nehru Youth Center, Bangalore. She said that 76 percent have a younger generation. If the youth power is on the right path of the nation’s power and the younger generation, India is on the path of development. Young men and women can use the training they have received. She said such training programs would enable people with different natures and collective barriers to face life’s obstacles.
District Panchayat CEO Preeti Gehlot said, “The future of the country is in the hands of young people. Instead of criticizing the problems in the country, you should work on finding the right solution”. She told the campers to embrace their training in the next life and apply it in their hometown
Mahavira Azri, Coastal Regional Director of District Shri Dharmasthala Rural Development Trust (RI), said the work should be an inspiration to the younger generation at the rural level. Young people should be able to do good in their field after they are trained. He said that the social worker should be able to work with social concerns in the area where there are many problems due to natural disasters.
Campaigners from different districts expressed their views on the program. Spotters kits were distributed to various organization officials.
Wilfred De Souza, coordinator of the Udupi Nehru Youth Center, spoke on the occasion.
