Udupi : MP Shobha Karandlaje had done nothing but what she claims that someone had done had done by her. It is my achievement to bring GTTC College at Uppoor, not achievement of Shobha Karanlaje,  said former minister Pramod Madhwaraj.

Addressing a press conference at Udupi Press Club on Saturday, October 26, Pramod Madhwaraj said that recently MP Shobha Karandlaje along with local MLA Raghupathy Bhat had visited the Government Tool Room Training Centre (GTTC) at Uppoor village near here. Raghupathy Bhat tweeted that MP Shobha Karandlaje had visited the government apparatus training centre and saying that it was the achievement of the Union Government.

Pramod Madhwaraj said that Raghupathy Bhat had accused me of being transferred to Manglore University PG centre at Belapu in 2013 after he became MLA. Bhat alleged that it will be due to failure of Pramod Madhwaraj then MLA the said PG centre transferred to Belapu. Pramod Madhwaraj said that it is due to my afford I was able to bring GTTC at Uppoor. But, Shobha Karandlaje said that it is due to her afford the said GTTC brought to Uppoor.

Pramod Madhwaraj released the proof of documents in relate to his afford to bring GTTC to Uppoor to the media. He said that in a b id to co-operate with the students here, in order to get job for our students, I requested the then Minister of Small Industries Sathish Jarakihole and Prakash Hukkeri to sanction a government tool training centre at Uppoor Government High School on 5 acres of land and sanctioned Rs 48 crore through NABARD. Through this, I have kept the talk of the people, Pramod said.

Presently, the work of the said building not completed. If I would have the MLA now, surely the courses could have started from this academic year. But, this is not happened. I request the elected representatives to try fast to complete the building of the Centre, he said.

Pramod alleges that MP Shobha Karandlaje called Siddaramaih is a cheap politician. Shobha has forgotten that former chief minister Siddaramaih is most powerful politician and his tenure was golden age in the state. It is a shame that even though Shobha Karandlaje had not given any single paise for the government equipment training centre built in Uppoor, someone is claiming to have done the job. Uppoor Government High School is lacking a stadium and MP Shobha Karandlaje along with MLA Raghupathy Bhat would release Rs 10 lakh each. It need more than Rs 5 lakhs to Rs 8 lakh.

Pramod Madhwaraj alleges that Shobha Karanlaje had done nothing for the said GTTC at Uppoor but what she claims is totally false.
