Print Udupi : Manipal Academy of Higher Education will be hosting in association with SOB, the National Coaching Camp in Floorball (male) for 250 Special Athletes from 22 States across India and also the Advanced Coaches Training Camp in Cricket for 55 coaches from 6th to 11th Jan 2020 at MIT Campus, Manipal.
Dr. H C. Ballal said that inaugural function of this event will be held on 6th January 2020 at 5.00 pm at MIT Basket Ball Court. Mr Victor Vaz, National Sports Director, Special Olympics, Bharat and Mr Raghupathi Bhat, MLA Udupi will be inaugurating the event.
Accommodation including food and other logistic support has been arranged by MAHE

Special Olympics Bharat organizes sports and competitions at various levels- local, district, state, national and international and based on abilities and
performance athletes cross each level to participate at higher consecutive levels. While sports remains the mainstay of the Special Olympics Program the capacity of the athletes are constantly developed through regular trainings and additional initiatives that help strengthen the athletes- mentally, physically and emotionally.
