Udupi : Anti - CAA, NRC Horata Committee, Kundapur will stage a protest on January 6 at Shastri Circle, Kundapur at 3 pm., said Abdul Zaleel, State Committee member, SDPI Karnataka.

Addressing a media conference at Udupi Press Club here on Thursday, January 2, Abdul Zaleel said that the deaths of two people in Laticharge and firing which left several people injured, has severely damaged civil society during the protest against CAA and NRC in Mengaluru.

The blame for all the disasters was the police’s action against some 100-150 protesters. Many people with serious injuries are being treated at hospitals in Mangalore. Mangalore police are also in the mood for police atrocities on doctors and also on nurses to break into the ICU unit of the hospital and smash into the hospital’s ICU unit. Some of the riot video footage is evidence of the excesses of police brutality.

But the state government has not take any action against police officers till now which would be a great tragedy. Police officers who carried out the lathi-charge and Golibar without cause, he said.

It is very important that they continue in their place and file false cases. The government has now ordered a CID-led magistrate to investigate the entire case so that there is no hope for justice. Therefore, the state government should immediately suspend guilty officers and vacate the Karnataka High Court.

In the meantime, the state BJP government should grace for the family of the deceased in Mangaluru Police firing. But it is a disgrace that the proposed relief has been withdrawn by the state government would shameful for the state.

Protests against CAA / NRC are widespread throughout the country. But only in states where BJP is in government, violence and police atrocities are atrocious. The violence of police, women, students, elderly and children against protesters in Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh is very high. The police have killed 23 people in Uttar Pradesh, six in Assam and two in Karnataka, where hundreds of people are hospitalized. In other states where there is no non-BJP government, the absence of violence and the brutality of violence in the states where the BJP is in government is a direct sign of the violence of the BJP government and the police. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister protests revenge (Badla) against protesters, police fire on protesters. Police firing from pistols, mobs of policemen mobbing houses, assaulting women, children and the elderly in the videography which has been the witness of their atrocities.  It is the BJP activists and the police who are responsible for this kind of terrorism in the government-run states. All these riots are attributed to the BJP government and the police’s pretense of conspiracy and corruption. Think of it as a way to curb protests with violence and violence.

Shashidhar Hemmady President of anti - NRC,  CAA Horata Committee said that Mangaluru police intentionally killed two people. Home Minister Amit Shah said that this is the first phase of NRC. He is trying to divide the country on the basis of religion. We all boycott and reject the CAA, NRC, NPR. All of us continuously struggle against the CAA, NRC, NPR. Hence, we all stage a protest at Kundapur on January 6.
