Udupi: The “Purapravesha” programme of Sri Eshapriya Swamiji of Admar Math will be held here on January 8, while Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji and Sri Eshapriya Theertha Swamiji of Admar Math will be ascending the Paryaya Peeta for the second time on January 18.

He said the procession would pass through Court Road, Old Post Office and Thenkapete.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Admar Math rest house on Saturday, Raghupathy Bhat Honorary President of reception committee said the procession of Swamiji’s re-entry. The entry is a customary entry into the citty by the Swamiji ascending the Paryaya Peeta after going on a pre-paryaya tour to pilgrimage centres and other religious places. It will start at 2.30 pm on Wednesday. The procession will reach Car street at 5.30 pm and Sri Eshapriya Swamiji will enter the Admar Math at 5.55.pm.

In the former alternatives, the burden was accepted simultaneously, but this time senior Swamiji Vishwapriya Tirtha decided to accept the burden every 2 days.The first plenary will be dedicated by the villagers of Maduma village of Adamaru, Malpe, Kodavur and Madhu. Then the burden will be dedicated once every 2 days. He said that the monastery would focus on environmental awareness and public awareness on plastic eradication.

Another eco-friendly thought of Swamiji is that the plants should be used for decoration, planting banana plants and re-planting them in the process. Traditionally, it is customary for the purapravesha of Swamiji to recall the heritage of the monastery, as well as the names of the pre-Yatas from Acharya Madhvar, Sri Narasimha Tirtha to Sri Vibudesha Tirtha.

As part of the plastic-free alternative, there is no opportunity to put sandalwood, beaded ornaments in the Paurasammana congratulation program. He said all the entry systems are simply beautiful.

Alternatively, the use of plastic flexes is canceled and the use of cloth plates, or banners, is requested. Cleanliness will be given a special priority, with the program being environmentally friendly.
