Udupi : It is true that  my financial downfall in foreign countries, but by the grace of God, my financial position is not so bad. B. R, Shetty still remains strong in financial outcome. But I felt very bad that after reading in media, B R Shetty’s dynasty drowned, said Dr. B. R. Shetty, International Entrepreneur.

He addressing the media persons at Kusamma Shambhu Shetty Memorial Haji Abdulla Government Hospital here on Monday, March 1 on the occasion of programme organized on the birth of 10,000^th child in the hospital.

As per the some media reports on him, Dr. B. R,. Shetty said it would be true that my financial downfall in foreign country due to my most trusted person whom I trusted who he had appointed one person as accountant in my company and later he promoted as CFO of my company who backstabbed me and cheated me very badly without my knowledge. I don’t want to name the person because the allegations are not yet proved under investigation.

Shetty said that the case in the court under investigation. Hence, I do not want to speak more against the accused. However, it is clear said some people cheated me very badly. But, I have confidence that with the grace of God, I will come out with all problems very soon, he said.

Shetty said I believe in God which the services for the people would be services for the God. In the year 1970, I won with maximum votes in Udupi town council which Dr V S Acharya was the president and I was the vice president. I had done progressive work in the city. We worked good work for the people in the city. I believed that whatever we good job for the city will depend us. I confidently say that I never cheated anyone.

When I was in Udupi I never had money in my pocket. I run the motorcycle with getting loan from others. Those I received the loan, that persons also I made help for them. Hence, I will bounce back in financially and I will come back. American banks were also seen to give loan with doubt for the Donald Trump who went on bankrupt and later he became the president of America, Shetty said.

Shetty said that I will get all my assets once again which I earned very hardly. I will continue to help for the social cause from my trust. I already donated my partial assets to Milinda Gate Foundation. What to do, my destiny is not good.

There are plenty of people when one person goes on top. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is my friend. He came to Udupi during the town council election for our party. But now present condition, I do not go for help with Modi. I feel shy to discuss with Modi. Earlier, I spoke with Modi several times. I never visited BJP leaders, he said.

Media people reported that Vijay Mallya ran away after cheating, Nirav Modi ran away after cheating in banks. But tomorrow, media persons can say that B R Shetty also ran away. But I will never run away to other countries, Shetty said.

B R Shetty said that I am Chairman of temple construction in Abudhabi, UAE and this responsibility given by the Abudhabi ruler. One of the big temple has been constructed in Abudhabi, he said.

B R Shetty Group has been running the Haji Abdulla Mother and Child Hospital in Udupi. Now presently near by the said hospital, super specialty hospital to be constructed. Due to technical problems, the construction work has stopped. When we are gets the permission to construct the hospital building, the work of construction of multi specialty hospital building going on. Whatever I gets profit from this multi specialty hospital will spend for the Haji Abdulla memorial government hospital nearby and I will run this hospital with all benefits for the poor people. Not only that, if the government provide us to construct nearby who late Pejawar Mutt pontiff studied school with good atmosphere, he said.

Query to reporters, B R Shetty said that I have not a single paise loan in India. In 2018, I had 12.8 billion dollars market capital. I resigned as chairman of NMC in 2017. In 2019 my foreign empire fell down. Laxmi comes and goes and not to do anything, but Saraswathi remains forever, he said.
