Udupi : Only Karnataka state in Southern Indian states BJP has been powerful, During 2008, the ruling government in Karnataka had changed three chief ministers. Due to Jarakiholi scam, the people are in the condition of bowing their head down. The coastal districts of Karnataka once were the base of Congress party. But, being very educated districts people are presently supporting BJP. We don’t understand why the people are supporting corrupt BJP which is surprising one,  said KPCC Working President R. Dhruvanarayan.

Addressing a press meet at Congress Bhavan, Nairkere near here on Sunday, March 7, Shruvanarayan said that due to upcoming zilla panchayat and taluk panchayat elections, the congress party in the state gearing several programmes in booth level, taluk level and zilla panchayat level. The KPCC has given me responsibilities in 9 districts of the state to look after the affair of the party. For the first time after my selection to the responsibilities, I held working committee meeting of the Udupi district Congress today.

We have succeeded to organizing the Janajagrati in the entire districts in relate to failure of the state as well as Union government at centre and we had received good response from the people of the state. It would be the time to inform about the administrative failures of the both government to the people. People need pro-people governance. The fuel price increased, price rise of essential commodities increased, the farmers condition has been terrific deteriorated. All these failures of the governments should be reached to the people, he said.

He said the character of the people representatives should be role model, but the responsible six ministers are gone to the court against suspecting news by the media. BJP saying ours is Rambhakt and Deshbhakt party. He questions 6 ministers that those who are Rambhakt are doing this type of work?

Dhruvanarayan said that state government under BJP rule completed two years. But there were no such pro-people programmes in the state. There is no coordination between the ministers. In the history of Karnanataka government has changed four departments in a day, he said.
