Print Sea Star Friends Kemmannu organize Cleanliness Campaign.
Kemmannu, April 15, 2021: Sea Star Friends Kemmannu in association with other organizations and kemmannu grama panchayat, had undertaken the cleanliness campaign on Wednesday April 14, 2021 starting from Kemmannu Convent Road till Govt Jr. College Road. Within a distance of one kilometre, a huge quantity of bottles, plastic bags filled with residential garbage was found alongside the road. It is observed that people dump their home wastage here and there alongside the road.
Environmentalist Richard Crasto says that our surroundings should be clean and the environment should be tranquil. He wants the Panchyat/police beat system to be started to curb this nonsense and stringent action to be taken against those who throw their Household waste everywhere.
Sea Star Members, Kemannu Panchayt Members, Kemmannu convent sisters and many other participated in the cleanliness campaign and appealed the public to join hands and participate whatever way they can in their drive against garbage free Kemannu Grama.

It’s the responsibility of the Panchayat or authorities to arrange and manage.
Put heavy fine to those who don’t follow! and throwing the garbage in public places.
My suggestion is that all panchayat members visit each household to educate the people of their ward if they can go to house to house during election time surely they can do now also people of the wards will welcome them some of them may have not visited each house after winning election they can utilize this opportunity as thanks giving also.
I don’t understand why others need to put cctv. It is the duty of the panchayat to do the needful, watch the cctv, catch the culprits, impose heavy fine and one month to clean the surrounding in that area. Later ask the culprits to watch over on others for one month. This way you can remove the problem right from the root
Dear panchayat members my kind request is that municipality garbage collection vehicles should pass by daily basis.
Everyone should wear masks.
