Udupi : Don’t target the person unnecessarily. The District Congress strongly condemned the statement made by the BJP president during the press meeton Vinay Kumar Sorake yesterday. In the press meet BJP president said that former district in-charge minister, former MP, former MLA belongs to Puttur and he is an outsider to our district, hence our workers need to send him back to Puttur.

Addressing a press meet at Congress Bhavan at Nairkere, near here on Wednesday, June 23, Udupi District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor said that the Congress party strongly objected and condemned the BJP President Kulaidy Suresh Nayak on personal attack on our leader Vinay Kumar Sorake who most senior politician than BJP district president. He should withdraw the statement made against Vinay Kumar Sorake, Kodavoor Ashok Kumar said.

If we talk about the origin of one politician, where is the origin of Shobha Karandleje, where is the origin of Sadananda Gowda, why did Kota Srinivas Poojary made district in-charge minister of DK district. But, in regard to the origin of politicians, we do not want to make politics or discuss that. May be Kualidy Suresh Nayak the aspirant of Kaup constituency in the election? It would be our democratic right from contesting elections in any part of the country that we are all citizens of the one nation. Vinay Kumar has been the voter of our Udupi district and not like Shobha Karandleje. Kulaidy Suresh Nayak should remove his statement that needs to send back Vinay Kumar Sorake to Puttur.

Kodavoor said that being both accused and killed Uday Ganega is from BJP. Why has the district BJP president not visited the families of Uday Ganega in Yadamoge till date even though they are from BJP? The one who makes politics on deceased persons, why Shobha Karandleje has not visited the family and not given any sympathies to them? We are not interested in politics in the Uday Ganega case. Former MLA of that region Gopal Poojary and former district in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake are visited to give sympathies to the family.

In order to support the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, any Hindu person has the right to give their contribution and the right to ask the spending money for the construction. Hence talking about the irregularities in spending the money, how it can be black mole to Hindu sentiments? We are also devoted Hindus. We also pray prior to the start of the day’s work. Our leader like Madhwaraj has been taking care of Goshala. The amount collected for the Ram Mandir construction which was used for real estate would be an insult to Lord Sri Ram, Kodavoor Ashok Kumar said.

KPCC panelist and Congress Senior leader Veronica Cornelio said that first of all you send back Shobha Karandleje to her original destination and later discuss the originality of other leaders. The accused person who killed Uday Ganega is the president of the gram panchay belonging to BJP. Hence, BJP should cancel his membership and he should be punished legally. The government should make fair investigation in regard to the Uday Ganega murder case.
