Abducted child from Udupi rescued by Udupi Police in Kumta, the accused arrested

Udupi : The police were succeeded quickly to trace the abducted 2.4 years child from Kumta on Monday which the child was kidnapped on Sunday, July 11 from Karavali bypass in Udupi.
The police have been arrested the accused Parashuram in Kumta, Uttarkannada district. He was taken into custody with the help of local police at Kumata railway station on Sunday night itself. Both the child Shivaraj and accused Parashuram were brought to Udupi today morning of July 12.
The child’s parents Bharati and Arun from Bagalkot were living in a shed at the Karavali bypass in Udupi. On Sunday morning Parashu came to their shed and with the permission of the couple took the boy out for breakfast. After a long time when the accused Parashu did not return with their son, the parents started searching for their child everywhere, but the child not found. Later, the couple filed a complaint the Udupi Town police.
The Udupi police immediately taken action to trace the kidnapped child and found the accused carrying the boy was recorded in a nearby CCTV camera at Karavali bypass. As per the CCTV footage, police team started the search operations and collected information about the accused.
According to the information provided by a woman that one person carrying a child has boarded a red colour bus in Santhekatte who travelled by city bus and got down at Santhekatte on morning of Sunday. The police team led by Udupi Town Police SI Pramod Kumar traced the bus and contacted the conductor. As per the information provided by conductor, Parashu had got down from the bus at Kumata. The police of Kumta, Bhatkal and Karwar started searching for accused with the child. They were able to spot and arrest the accused in the night.
A case of kidnapping was registered at Udupi Town Police station on Sunday after the missing of a child.
