Udupi : The district police have arrested Ramakrishna Ganiga (42), for allegedly conspiring to homicide his spouse Vishala Ganiga (35) in her flat in Kumragodu, Brahmavara. He had come to Brahmavara from Dubai to accomplish the final rites of his spouse.

Meanwhile the accused Ramakrishna Ganiga produced before the court by investigation officer CPI Brahmavara Anananthapadmanabha. The district court has remanded Ramakrishna Ganiga to police custody for four days.
