Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) Appoints Mr. John D’Silva as the as the New Chairman

Mumbai (RBI), July.27: . The Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry today formally announced that Mr. John D’Silva has been appointed as the new Chairman of the CCCI, replacing Mr. Antony Sequeira. Mr. John D’Silva is a veteran in the banking community. He replaces Mr. Antony Sequeira, on account of his resignation.

Mr. John D’Silva has the unique distinction of organizing and laying a firm footing to the following four Co-Operative Banks, as the Chief Promoter and CMD of Abhyudaya Co-op. Bank Ltd, New India Co-op. Bank Ltd ,Citizen Credit Co-op. Bank Ltd and Model Co-op. Bank Ltd., as its Chief promoter and the First Chairman. He also served as the Vice Chairman of the Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He is presently associated with the following organizations and Institutions as the Editor-in-Chief of the Co-operative Bankers Handbook and the Urban Banks All India Directory. He is the President of the Mangalorean Catholic Educational Co-op Credit Society Ltd, Fuddar Prathisttan.  And the Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Maharashtra.

ಮುಂಬಯಿ (ಆರ್‍ಬಿಐ), ಜು.27: ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚನ್ ಛೇಂಬರ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರೀಸ್‍ನ (ಸಿಸಿಸಿಐ) ಇದರ ನೂತನ ಮಧ್ಯಕಾಲೀನ ಕಾರ್ಯಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಆಗಿ ಜೋನ್ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಕಾರ್ಕಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಇವರು ಈ ತನಕ ಉಪ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ, ಸಿಸಿಸಿಐ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಸಿಸಿಸಿಐ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಆ್ಯಂಟನಿ ಸಿಕ್ವೇರಾ ಅವರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆಯಿಂದ ತೆರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳೆದ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಡೆಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೋನ್ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಸಿಐ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಮಥಾಯಸ್, ಉಪ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರುಗಳಾದ ಆಲ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ಡಬ್ಲ್ಯೂ.ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ಮಾಜಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹೆನ್ರಿ ಲೊಬೋ ಅವರು ನೂತನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಜೋನ್ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪುಷ್ಫಗುಪ್ಚ ನೀಡಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಸಿಐ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಲಾರೇನ್ಸ್ ಕುವೆಲ್ಲೊ, ನ್ಯಾ| ಪಿಯುಸ್ ವಾಸ್, ಜಾನ್‍ಸನ್ ಥೆರಟಿಲ್, ರಾಲ್ಫ್ ಪಿರೇರಾ, ಆಗ್ನೇಲ್ಲೋ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಅಥೈಡೆ, ಗ್ರೆಗೋರಿ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಿಸಿಸಿಐ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರೋಹನ್ ಟೆಲ್ಲಿಸ್  ಸ್ವಾಗತಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.

ಅವಿಭಜಿತ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ (ಉಡುಪಿ) ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಕಳ ಸಾಣೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಮತ್ತು ರೆಮಿಡಿಯಾ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ದಂಪತಿ ಸುಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿ ಜನಿಸಿರುವ ಇವರು ಕಳೆದ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 85ರ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದ್ದು ಈಗಲೂ ಸೆಲ್ಫ್‍ಮೇಡ್‍ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಸಾಧಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಸೈಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಪ್ರೈಮರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಸಾಣೂರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ, ಎಸ್‍ವಿಟಿ ಹೈಯರ್ ಎಲಿಮೆಂಟರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಕಾರ್ಕಳ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ, ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಬೃಹನ್ಮುಂಬಯಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಫ್ರೀ ನೈಟ್ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್‍ಎಸ್‍ಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಜೈ ಹಿಂದ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ.ಎ ಪದವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್.ಎ ಪೆÇದರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ.ಕಾಂ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಗ್ ದಿಗ್ಗಜರೆಣಿಸಿರುವರು. ಡಾ| ಟಿ.ಎಂ.ಎ ಪೈ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್-2008 ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
