Udupi : Rev Fr. Joy Rolson Andrede, Assistant Parish Priest of Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur near here was celebrated 31st Birthday here on Friday, August 20, 2021.
After the thanksgiving mass concelebrated by Rev Fr. Joy R Andrede along with Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca, brief get-together program held to felicitate 31st birthday person Fr. Joy Andrede at Cathedral portico today.
Owen Rodrigues parish pastoral member welcomed the gathering. The choir team of the Cathedral beautifully sung praise song for popularly known as Fr. Joy. The 31st birthday cake was cut by Fr. Joy and later thanked the parishioners to conducting birthday celebrations and gave gratitude to all concerned. He asked for prayers for him who arrived to parish as an assistant parish priest.
In his message by the Rector Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca all praise to Fr. Joy and said within short time Fr. Joy has been recognized popularly known by the parishioners and others. He thanked the parents of Fr. Joy who given their son for the God’s service and much grateful to them. He wished the Fr. Joy on behalf of parishioners and himself.
Earlier Jeffrey Dias, Vice President of parish pastoral council spoke on Fr. Joy and happy that Fr. Joy within short time most popular in the parish for his devoted services for the God and the people.
Merlyn Martis, parish pastoral member proposed vote of thanks. Flavia Menezes, Coordinator of parish pastoral commission compared the programme. Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Vice president of PPC Jeffrey Dias, Rose Convent Superior Sr. Agnes, Rosy Baretto President of Catholic Sabha Kallianpur Deanery, parish pastoral members, well wishers, and youths congratulated the assistant parish priest Fr. Joy Andrede.
