Rotary Kallianpur’s Vidhya Sethu Project - Books distributed

The Vidhya Sethu  Project was held yesterday the 23rd August 2021.

Following Schools were presented with books, viz.
1. Milagris Kannada Medium School
2. TMA Pai School
3. Kemmanu Junior college and school and
4. Carmel Kannada medium school Kemmanu.

Speaking on the Occasion, President Rtn Shambu, Zonal Lieutenant, Rtn Braan D’Souza and Education Chairman, Rtn Leo W Andrade, Emphasized the need for an all round approach in challenging the SSC exams, which being the most Critical Stage of one’s Career ahead.

he Simple and Comprised Syllabus Of the 9th and 10th Standard is a bridge to assist the students along with the previously presented TABS to cover and revise their entire academic curriculum for the Exams.
Books were well received by the teachers, parents and students who were Present during the Presentation, The Headmasters of the Schools, have deeply appreciated and showered Praise and thanks to the efforts of the KRC in meeting the Student’s need at this Covid -19 situation.

A total of 1460 books were distributed amongst the stated Schools amounting to Rs 14600/-.

The Balance of the Books are earmarked for the Upoor School at KG road.

The Presentation was Attended by, Rtn Vidyadhar Kini, Rtn Ramakrishna A, Rtn Ramanna, Rtn IPP Desmond Vas, Rtn Leo Andrade, Zonal Lieutenant Rtn Braan D’Souza, Club Secretary, Prakash Kumar and President Rtn Shambu Shanker.

ರೋಟರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಯೋಜನೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸೇತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಡಿ  ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ರೋಟರಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಟಿ.ಎಂ.ಎ. ಪೈ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ 41 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ  ಪುಸ್ತಕ ವಿತರಣೆ ಈ ದಿನ ಟಿ.ಎಂ.ಎ. ಪೈ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ  ಶಾಲಾ ಇಂಟರಾಕ್ಟ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಶಾಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶೇಖರ್ ರವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ರೋಟರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನು  ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. 

ವಲಯ ಸೇನಾನಿ ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ಬ್ರಾಯನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ಶಂಭು ಶಂಕರ್, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಚಯರ್ ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ಲಿಯೋ ವಿಲಿಯಂ ಅಂದ್ರಾದೆ ರವರು ಸಮಯೋಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ತುಂಬಿದರು. ನಿಕಟಪೂರ್ವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ಡೆಸ್ಮಂಡ್ ವಾಸ್, ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳಾದ ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾಧರ್ ಕಿಣಿ, ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ರಾಮ ಪೂಜಾರಿ,  ರೊಟೇರಿಯನ್ ರಾಮ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ನಂತರ ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆ, ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು. ಹಾಗು ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆ, ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು  ಶಾಲೆ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಜರುಗಿಸಿ ತಲಾ 65, 20, 20 ರಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ರೂ.14600. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ 146 ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು  ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
