Bajarangdal to organize protest meets all over the state against the demolition of temple at Nanjanagudu, Mysure on September 16

Udupi : We are strongly condemn the demolition of one of the oldest generation Adishakthi Sri Mahadevamma Baireshwara temple at Nanjangudu, Mysuru district, said Sunil K. R. South Region State Convener of Bajarangdal.
Addressing a press meet held at Udupi Press Club here on Wednesday, September 15, Sunil K R said that the demotion of temple is great accident on Hindu society. Herewith, we demand the suspension of concerned Nanjanagudu Tahsildar and Mysuru district collector who were responsible to demolish the famous temple, he said.
He said that it would be true that even though there are illegally occupied churches, mosques, the officials targeting the temples and Hindu religious places and also it would be true that those who against the Hindu society are indulged with the officials to degrade the Hinduism. Hence, we demand to make investigation on these officials that they hurt the feelings of Hindu society at large.
Sunil said that the state government should give the order that there shall not demolish the Hindu temples or Hindu religious worshipping places. He said that whichever parties ruling in the state, they should not demolish Hindu religious worshipping places. Our organization is not in favour of any government who hurting the Hindu feelings whatsoever. However, the recent statement of state government on not to demotion of any temples will be appreciated, he said.
In order to demolition of temple at Nanjanagudu at Mysuru district, Bajarangdal and other Hindu organizations to organized the state level protest meet at various places against the demolition of the temple. Meanwhile the protest meet also organized at Udupi, Mangaluru and Puttur on Thursday, September 16.
Vishnumurthy Acharya District President of Bajarangdal, Vice president Ashok Palmada, Bajarangadal district Convener Surendra Koteshwara were present during the press meet.
