Competitions and Prize Distributions by IT Club, St. Mary’s College, Shirva.

Shirva, September 18, 2021: Saint  Mary’s College Computer Science Department in association with IT Club organised IT Competitions and Prize Distribution on Saturday 18 September 2021.Now a days  computer learning is a necessity because rapid growth in business environment and computer use in every field. Hence to get academic progress and  built the bright future students should make more usage and learning of the computer is essential.Addressing the recently changed National Education Policy, that in the age of technology, students are increasingly using computers to enhance their skills, Design needy technology for society, wished students to get  a good job,also stressed to develop a research mindset said the Principal of the college, Dr. Herald Ivan Monis while  distributing prizes to the students.

IT Club of the college organised various IT Competitions from 14 to 18 September 2021.

Participating in each and every competition by the student will help them to develop skills, creativity,critical thinking also enhance  personality development and to help them face the challenges of the competitive world and become better citizens said Lieutenant K. Praveen Kumar, Head of the Computer Science Department and IT Club Director, provided introductory remarks.
 The winners and runners of various events Priyanka, Surekha, Leekitha Shetty, Kripa B Acharya, Shruti C Poojary, Prajwal, Sanath Kumar Shetty, Preethika, Deeksha P.G, Satvik J Kotiyan, Tarun Ramesh Shetty,Deekshith, Denson Brain Nazareth, Hardik Salian, Apeksha,  Chaya Karkera,Sanath Kumar Shetty, Prajwal,Niveditha Nikhil Poojary, Rion Rishi Alphonso,  Bangera Tushar Rajesh, Sukesh poojary, Donald Ashwin Dsouza, Shetty Sairam jayaram were awarded Certificates and Prizes.

On the same event Megha Kulal,Prajwal ,Leekitha Shetty,Mahima Bhat, Rion Rishi Alponso,Dilson Nizar, Bhat Ramdas Sathish,of BCA students were congratulated for participating  and got selected in various campus recruitment drives.

Lecturers Divyashree B, Sushma, Prakasha and all the students,Teaching and administrative staff were present. Mr Chennabhasavayya read the prize list.

Student leaders Dakshyani,Bhat Ramdas Sathish, Dilson Nizar, Prateek Poojary Prabhakar, Vignesh, Abhishek, Mahima, Rion Rishi Alponso helped to smooth conducting of the competitions. Shruthi C Poojary Welcomed the gathering, Siyanabanu Proposed vote of Thanks. Kripa B Acharya Compered the programme.

ಶಿರ್ವ: ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇಂದು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಧಿಸಿ, ಉಜ್ವಲ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಬದಲಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ,ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ,ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಉತ್ತಮ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಶಿರ್ವ ಸಂತ ಮೇರಿ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಐಟಿ  ಕ್ಲಬ್  ಸಂಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ   ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ   ಐಟಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು-ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ   ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ| ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐವನ್ ಮೋನಿಸ್ ರವರು ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ  ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿರುವ ಕೌಶಲ, ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ, ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲತೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ  ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಲು  ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯು ಸಹಾಯಕಾರಿ ಎಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಟಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಡೈರೆಕ್ಟರ ಲೆಫ್ಟಿನೆಂಟ್ ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.  ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಐಟಿಕ್ಲಬ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ  ಬಿಸಿಎ   ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 14ರಿಂದ 18 ರವರೆಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಐಟಿ ಕಾಂಪಿಟೇಶನ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ವಿಜೇತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕಾ,ಸುರೇಖಾ, ಲಿಖಿತಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ,  ಕ್ರಿಪಾ, ಶ್ರುತಿ, ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್, ಸನತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಪ್ರೀತಿಕಾ, ದೀಕ್ಷಾ, ಸಾತ್ವಿಕ್ ,  ತರುಣ್ ರಮೇಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ದೀಕ್ಷಿತ್, ಅಪೇಕ್ಷ, ಚಾಯ ಕರ್ಕೆರ,  ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ ಸಾಲಿಯಾನ್, ಡೆನ್ಸನ್ ಬ್ರೈನ್   ನಜರೆತ್, ರಿಯಾನ್ ರಿಷಿ ಅಲ್ಫೋನ್ಸೋ, ನಿವೇದಿತಾ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ,  ಬಂಗೇರ ತುಷಾರ್ ರಾಜೇಶ್,  ಸುಕೇಶ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ, ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸಾಯಿರಾಮ್ ಜಯರಾಮ್ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ  ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ ಪ್ಲೇಸ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ   ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಮೇಘ ಕುಲಾಲ್, ಮಹಿಮಾ ಭಟ್, ಲಿಖಿತಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ,ಡಿಲ್ಸನ್ ನಿಜಾರ್,ರಿಯಾನ್ ರಿಷಿ ಅಲ್ಫೋನ್ಸೋ,ಭಟ್ ರಾಮದಾಸ ಸತೀಶ್, ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ಬಿಸಿಎ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ದಿವ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ, ಸುಷ್ಮಾ,ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕೇತರ ವೃಂದದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.  ಶ್ರೀ ಚೆನ್ನ ಬಸವಯ್ಯ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ವಾಚಿಸಿದರು.        
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಾಯಕರಾದ ದಾಕ್ಷಾಯಿಣಿ,ಭಟ್ ರಾಮದಾಸ ಸತೀಶ್, ಡಿಲ್ಸನ್ ನಿಜಾರ್, ಪ್ರತೀಕ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ, ವಿಜ್ಞೇಶ್, ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್, ಮಹಿಮಾ, ರಿಯಾನ್ ರಿಷಿ ಅಲ್ಫೋನ್ಸೋ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಕು. ಶೃತಿ ಸಿ ಪುಜಾರಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ,ಕು.ಸಿಯಾನಾ ಬಾನು  ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಕು. ಕ್ರಿಪಾ ಬಿ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು
