Print Udupi : Congress has given all to Madhwaraj family. Pramod Madhwaraj will regret to say that he had made a mistake to join with BJP, said D K Shivakumar, KPCC President.
Speaking to media persons at Udupi today on Friday, May 20, D K Shivakumar said that Pramod Madhwaraj left the Congress party with his own decision. Those who say there would be a breathing situation in the Congress party, we are happy to say that let them breathe correctly in BJP. Pramod Madhwaraj used to sit beside me, but now he is sitting down, he said.
After resigning in Congress by Pramod Madhwaraj, our party workers have not gone down, but they are in good mood. Some of the BJP workers decided to join the Congress party. We are going to start a membership drive in Udupi district. At the earliest after deciding the candidate for election, we are going to announce the candidates’ information, said D K Shivakumar.
He said that we planned a programme to create employment. Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts people have capacity to create employment. There should be a need to block people from migrating for employment to other places. He advised the youths to utilize their talents with creating jobs.
Udupi District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, former MLA U R Sabhapathy, Congress leaders Krishnamurthy Acharya, Kinnimulky, Bhaskar Rao Kidiyoor, Kushal Shetty, Narasimhamurthy B., Annayya Sherigar, Kishan Hegde Kolkebail, Roshan Shetty and others were present.
