Kaup : The Kaup police arrest four drivers for their rash driving and obstructing smooth flow of vehicular traffic on NH66 and seized their vehicles, District Police Superintendent said in his media release.

An informer called up PSI Suma of the Kaup Police station and informed her of the rash manner in which a jeep and three cars were being driven on NH66 posing very danger to other road vehicular traffic on Monday, May 23. A video of how the four vehicles including a jeep were driven went viral on social media which the informant told to the PSI Suma and asked her to take stern action against the drivers after watching the video footage. The vehicles were driven with their rash driving from Moodabettu village to Muluru village on the NH16 highway, police said.

The drivers have been arrested along with their vehicles as follows :

1) KA20MH9370 Black colour Creta car

Ayaan (24) Guddeyangady Udyavara Village, Udupi.

2) KA 20 MD 6767 Blue colour Mahindra jeep

Mishalvuddin (23)  Kunjibettu Udupi

3) KA 20 ME 6996 WHITE COLOR FORTUNER

Shanoon Dsouza (25), Haika Building, Udupi,

4) KA 20 MD 8078 WHITE COLOR SWIFT CAR

Vivek (23) , 10 th cross, Kodanthur, Udupi

Under the guidance of Akshay Hakay Machindra Superintendent of Police, Udupi district under the leadership of PSI Suma, Kaup Police Station arrested four and seized their four vehicles respectively.
