Melwyne Fernandes has been elected as the president of Kemmannu Flowers, UAE.

Dubai, September 2013: Young, energetic and dynamic Melwyne Fernandes has been elected as the president of Kemmannu Flowers, UAE, an association of people residing in the United Arab Emirates from the parish of Little Flowers, Kemmannu, Diocese of Udupi.

The election process was held on Friday the 23rd of August, 2013 and the official handing over of tasks was conducted on the 13th of September, 2013 during the Monthi Fest Celebration of the executive committee and its family members at the residence of its former president Mr. Sydney D’souza.

The New Executive committee members are:

Cultural/Sports Sec.       : Ronald D’souza
Media Coordinator         : Alex George Lewis.

Three former presidents Mr. Sydney D’souza, Mr. Stany D’souza and Mr. Arvin Quadros has been elected as board members. Founder/former active executive committee member Mr. Stany D’cunha was present during the election and  handing over ceremony and extended his full support to the new committee.

Former President Mr Sydney Dsouza , Secretary Mrs.Hazel Machado Michael and the entire former Team thanked all the members for the support during their tenure and congratulated the new team and promised to extend their full support for all the up-coming activities of the new team. Mr and Mrs. Camil Fernandes (Parents of new president), who were on a visit to the UAE attended the function.
