Print KNS and Kavita Trust® holds Inter Parish Poetry Reciting Competition
Mangalore, Sep 8, 2014: Konkani Natak Sabha® Mangalore in association with Kavita Trust® organized Poetry reciting Competition in the Don Bosco Hall here on Sunday September 7.
The Competition was held in two categories - below 15 years and 15 to 30 years. In the below 15 years category 20 competitors took part in the competition. The result of below 15 years is as follows:
I. Prethuma Monteiro, Vamanjoor Parish
II. Ostin D’Cunha, Bejai Parish
III. Annalisa D’Silva, Bondel Parish
In the 15 to 30 years category 31 competitors took part in the competition. The result of 15 to 30 years is as follows:
I. Amora Monteiro Vamanjoor and Jaison J. Sequeira, Gurpur Parish
II. Nilisha D’Souza, Bejai Parish
III. Roshan Crasta, Paldane Parish
Kavita Trust distributed Certificates and Poetry books to all the participants.
William Pais, Eddie Sequeira and Avrel Rodrigues were the judges.
Fr Cyprian Peter D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Dolpy Saldanha and Vitori Karkal compered the programme, General Secretary Sunil Menezes proposed vote of thanks and Kavita Trust President Melwin Rodrigues announced the results.
