Print Udupi : On the occasion of Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Vishwa Hindu Parished (VHP), youth wing of the VHP, Bajarang Dal to be organized Blood Donation camp though out the state on 2nd November, 2014. Bajarang Dal expected 10,000 units of blood through the around 30 camps in the state which 3,000 units to be collected from Mangaluru and 2,000 units from Udupi respectively as per the press conference held at Udupi by M. B. Puranik, Working President of VHP, Karnataka South.
Meanwhile on 11th and 12th November “Santh Sammelan” will be held at Siddaganga Mutt, Tumkur which will inaugurated by Dr. Shivakumar Mahaswami.
Blood donation camp at Udupi to held at KMC Hospital, at Sharada Vidyalaya, Mangaluru, Puttur, Sullya and at other places of Southern Karnataka.
Speaking to the media persons at Press Club by M. B. Puranik in regard to rejection of Somashekar Report on Church Attacks, he said that church attack was not preplanned. Attack was done by some of the Hindu people in order to outrage against the conversion in prayer Halls. The rejection of the Somashekar report by the state government in order to pleasing the minorities.
The congress led state government is adopting anti Hindu policies which will be for five years during their rule. We surely safe guard our cows, mutt and religion which our worship places. It is not fair to reject the Someshekar report. It will clearly shows that the rejection of the report which is politically motivated.
During the press meet Prof. M. B. Puranik Working President of VHP Kasrnataka South, Sharan Pumpwell Convener of Bajaranga Dal, Karnataka South, Baikady Suprasada Shetty Udupi District VHP President, Sunil K. R., Krishnamoorthy and among others were present.
