Udupi : Milagres English Medium Schools Kallianpur near here conducted Annual Sports Meet 2014/15 with superb, extraordinary, beautiful sports atmosphere on Friday, 30^th October, 2014 at Milagres College grounds.

Prior to the inauguration,  Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo Correspondent of Milagres Institutions, Glenn Dais Entrepreneur, Alumni and District Awarded Body Builder, Mr. Lokash Mendon and Dr. Lakshmi Pai Presidents of PTA were witnessed and took guard of honor from the Athletes which tremendous, colorful flags. Wow, what the students put their best foot forward in the march fast event which was really fantastic and well disciplined.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo hoisted the school flag before the inauguration of two days annual sports meet 2014/15. The Olympic torch lit by state level sportsmen at the ground.  

Two days Sports meet was inaugurated by letting colourful balloons to the air and declared open by Glenn Dais Entrepreneur, Alumni and District Awarded Body Builder. Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza Principal of Milagres English Schools gave introduction of the chief guest Glenn Dias.

Speaking in his address Glenn said that academic excellence alone is never enough for a sound education but healthy body and mind contributes highly for proper learning and sound education.

Glenn Dais was felicitated during the occasion by guests on the dais.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo presided the inaugural function and during in his address said that the important thing in sports meet is not winning but taking part like in the class room which sports ground is the class room. The essential thing is not conquering but fighting well. The participation in various events of the sports on the ground  will be encouraging talents of the participants.

Prior to the inauguration,  invocation prayer song held by the school students. Cynthia Sequiera welcpmed the gatherings. Eugene Rebello proposed vote of thanks while Mariet Rodrigues compered the inaugural occasion. Large number of parents and guests were participated during the inaugural occasion.
