Print Udupi : UGC sponsored Department of Sanskrit, Poornaprajna College and Mangalore University Sanskrit Teachers’ Association will organized two days National Seminar on “Moral Values Depicted in Sanskrit Literature” at Poornaprajna Auditorium, Udupi on Friday, 19th December, 2014.
H H. Shri Shri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji President of Udupi Shri Admar Mutt Education Council, Bengaluru will inaugurate and bless the occasion. Dr. Vishnu Potty V. S., Hon’able Vice Chancellor of Shri Chandrashekara Saraswathi Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu will give keynote address. Shri K. Sadashiva Rao Principal of Poornaprajna College will preside.
Dr. Shrinivasa Varkhedi Hon’able Vice Chancellor of Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bengaluru and Dr. G. S. Chandrashekhar Hon. Secretary, PCMC, Udupi will guests of honour.
Speaking with the media persons K. Sadashiva Rao said that around 200 representatives will participate during the seminar and 14 scholars will participate as resource persons. Meanwhile around 54 senior and junior scholars will present the papers during the seminar.
Valedictory function to be held on Saturday, 20th December at Poornaprajna Mini Auditorium of the college. Dr. N. Radhakrishna Bhat Rtd Prof and Chiarman, DOS in Sanskrit, KSOU, Mysuru and Shri Pradeep Kumar Hon Treasurer, PCMC, Udupi to be guests of honour.
During the press meet Dr. Ramesh T. S. HOD of Sanskrit & Organising Secretary, Shri K. Sadashiva Rao Principal, Dr. B. Jagadish Shetty HOD of History, Dr. Shrikanth Siddhapur HOD of Kannada were among present.
