Daivi Vana by forest department inaugurated at Karinjeshwar Temple, Bantwal

Bantwall: Departmet of Forest  Mangalore Division”Daivi Vana”, filled with medicinal Ayurvedic plants was inaugurated at Shri  Karinjeshwara Temple  Near  Vogga Bantwall Taluk  by Minister  for  Forest ,Environment and Ecology and District  In-Charg  B.Ramanatha Rai on 17 February 2015.

It was constructed at the cost of Rs. 40 lakhs. Rai spoke in the inaugural function and said that “Nature is the God which is present before our eyes”. So Under the concept of “dharma” an effort has to be made to save the forest. Everyone should understand that if the forest is destroyed there is harm to our environment and it is our duty to save this beautiful gift. It is constructed at holy place as a complement and  goodwill of the people. By worshipping our nature and environment we can build a healthy society. The minister distributed different medicinal plants to the capable people who were interested to save the Mother Nature and grow these plants.

Daivi Vana” is subdivided in to “Sthothra Vana”,”Vanabhojana Guhe”, “Swasthya Patha”, “Navagraha  Vana”, ”Rashi vana”,Moolika Vana” and Tulasi Vana.All the different Vana’s is comprised full of medicinal plants. Forest department has made really a good effort to save all these medicinal plants.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Mr Kishan Singh Sugaar ,CCF Mangalore Sanjeev   Bijjur   , DCF  Mr Sadashiva Bhat  ACF of forests Mr A S Abbas, D K, .Mr Shriprabhu, Administrative officer Parameshwara Naik,,Mr Vedava, Zilla panchayath member Chandraprakash Shetty, TP Vice President  Vilasini, B.Padmashekhara Jain,Darshan Jain,,Abdul Razak,  Yakub Sahib,Sullia  ACF Dr.Dinesh,Udupi Vigilance team ACF Sheena Kottari, Belthangady forest officer Sundara Shetty, Panja Forest officer Praveen Shetty,Bantwala  Bantwal Forest officer N.Subramanya Rao,Assistant forest officer K.A Mathew,Forest guard Lakshminarayana were present during the inaugural function.
Bantwall Range Forest Office N  Subramanya Rao and his team worked hard for the  success of  this  event, Assistant forest conservation officer Dr K T Hanumanthappa welcomed the gathering. Chief Forest conservation officer Dr Sanjay S Bijur made the inaugural speech. P Jinaraja conveyed the vote of thanks.
