Print Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development to be held at Manipal
Udupi, July 29, 2015: Entrepreneurship Development Progamme for young graduates will be held on Thursday, 30th July, 2015 at School of Management, Manipal University, Manipal which organized by Platform of women Entrepreneurs Regd (POWER), Department of Commerce and Industry, Government of Karnataka, District Industries Centre, Udupi and Social Service Forum, School of Management, Manipal University.
While speaking with media persons at Udupi, Sarita Santhosh said that Entrepreneurship as a career option has emerged very fast in the recent times considering the situation of employment in the country. In the present context, it is relevant to inculcate entrepreneurial values amongst the student community during their educational tenure. In fact entrepreneurial spirit could be inculcated among college students in the early stages itself. The philosopy of entrepreneurship development programme is based on the assumption that entrepreneurs are not only born, but can also be identified, motivated and thus created. In this context, Platform of Women Entrepreneurs Regd (POWER) has planned to conduct Entrepreneurship Development Programme for young graduates to motivate them to take up entrepreneurship as a career option.
The first programme in this series, Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme will be organised for the students of School of Management which presided by Dr. KVM Varambally, Director, School of Management, Manipal University and Ms. Sarita Santhosh President POWER. Key resource persons for the programme are Sri Vilas Nayak CEO Hanuman Motors, Udupi and Mr. Santhosh Nandi Strategic Consultant – GIZ and MD, Annova Consulting.
