Udupi, March 9, 2016: Pride of Thonse, holder of Limca book of records, well known Dramatist founder of ‘Kala Jagathu’ Mumbai Mr. Thonse Vijay Kumar Shetty was felicitated at his native town Udupi for entering the Limca Book of records. Mr. Vijay Kumar has continuously performed for 13 hours presenting parts of his 60 dramas in Mumbai recently to enter the record book.
The grand felicitation function was held at the Town Hall Udupi which was inaugurated the by Mrs. Sandya Pai, Editor of ‘Taranga’ weekly in the presence of other dignitaries. Mr. Vijay Kumar presented glimpses of his 30 dramas in a show which last for 6 hours. The full house crowd highly appreciated the highly talented actors’ presentation.
At the felicitation Dr. G. Shankar of G. Shankar Family Trust Udupi presided over the function other dignitaries including Dr. Mohan Alva, President of Alva’s Foundation Moodubidri felicitated Mr. Shetty, who in turn narrated the journey of his artistic journey and thanked everyone including his mother and family members who were present on the occasion.
