Mangalore: Konkani Movie ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ creates new records.

Mangalore/Udupi, September 12, 2016: Perhaps it’s the first time in the region that a Konkani movie has been making so much news that everyone speaks about Ek Aslyar Ek Na. Show has been running houseful in second week in Mangalore, Moodubidri and Karkala.  Udupi Ashirvad and Manipal Inox, B.C road Nakshatra will be screening the movie from 16th onwards.

Yes, EK Aslyar Ek Na, a super hit Konkani movie has surprised everyone with a great success. People from different part of coastal are coming to the theatres in Mangalore including the theatre management. One of the Managers of the theatre in Mangalore, where the Ek Aslyar Ek na is being screened said ‘ We have never seen such a crowd for any Konkani movie in recent time.  He says this is the first Konkani movie where the online booking on   www.bookmyshow.com’ is sold out within few hours much to their surprise.  Looking at the overwhelming response of the people the Big Cinema in Mangalore has decided to keep 3 shows  instead of one show per day.

There is a celebration mood in the dug out of team Ek Aslyar Ek Na as the movie is gradually becoming the talk of the town. Thanks to Mr. frank Fernandes for giving such a great entertaining blockbuster movie to the Konkani world. He has spent a large amount of money and has given such a great entertainer by filling the long gap in Konkani world by giving such a brilliantly made Konkani movie which has everything including Comedy, Action and Romance.

Mr.Frank Fernandes, Thottam, Producer himself says “I want this movie to reach every person who speaks and understands Konkani. Even for those who cannot understand Konkani we have added subtitles in English so that, it can be watched by all. He said “I have given a chance to many artist to show their talents on screen and I am satisfied the result this movie has brought so far. God willing I will keep producing Konkani movies every year to take my mother tongue to a different level”.

Pradeep Barboza, the writer, director and the hero himself says “People have accepted us as an actors and we are grateful to them for  the love and encouragement they have shown us so far, and we are looking for more and more people will come to theaters to watch the movie.

People from different part of South Canara are thronging to the theaters to watch the movies. One could see special coaches parked outside the theaters in Mangalore and Moodubidri carrying people from far distances. The main entrance of the Prabath theater has one of the largest cutout of the banner which has created a history in itself, where never before such a large cutout has been installed for any Konkani movie. People find them self in surprise as they come out of the theatre to see one or the other actors standing outside, greeting and thanking them for their support.

Alphons Dsouza Moodubelle, who acted as a villain in the movie as well as the coordinator for the movie said “I have been receiving calls from different parts of India including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Baroda, Mysore and Bangalore where there are large number of Konkani speaking people interested to screen this movie.  He said we never thought results would be so great when we decided to bring this movie to Mangalore initially. The response to the movie has been overwhelming so far. It’s a right time of the year where we have managed to bring the crowd to the theatres by providing them such a great entertainment.

This movie will reach different part of India with the able leadership of our dynamic youth leader Sheldon Crasta, who is keen and actively involved with team EAEN to promote movie all over India. A meeting was held in Udupi to plan the release of the movie in the district. Loyal D’souza and team have come forward in support of the movie.

Udupi has a large number of Konkani speaking people who will get a chance to watch this blockbuster movie from 16th September onwards with a great enthusiasm and initiative taken by youth of Udupi including Loyal D’Souza and Stephen.

EAEN will be released in Inox Manipal, Ashirvad, Udupi and Nakshatra in B.C Road from 16th September. There will be 4 shows daily in Ashirvad  10.00 am, 1.00 pm, 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm and one show in Inox Manipal.
