Print Udupi : Under the leadership of Dr. Jayaram Shettigar and Dr. Vincent Alva Professors of Milagres College, Kallianpur produced short mobile film “Ask Information – Get justice” which bagged National Award recently and won prizes cash Rs. 50,000 and certificates given by Oscar Fernandes Member of Rajya Sabha.
Rajiv Gandhi National Academy organized national level short film competition which participated by 127 short films all over India and Milagres College Kallianpur bagged second prize which will prestigious for the college.
The awarded short film produced on the basis of the fight for the social justice by social activist Japti Shyamsunder Shettigar in relation to Information Rights Act. During the distribution ceremony along with Oscar Fernandes, Ashok Kodavoor, Pratapchandra Shetty, M. A. Gaffor, Dr. Jayaram Shettigar were present.
Rosalia Cardoza, Karthik and Krathika were received the award from Oscar Fernandes. It will be prestigious and great matter to the college, said Dr. Gerald Pinto, Principal of Milagres College, Kallianpur.

ಇಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಅಜ್ಜರಕಾಡು ಉಡುಪಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಸಮಾಜಸೇವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಾದ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಒಳಕಾಡು ಇವರು ಇಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಚ್.ಅಶೋಕ್ ಇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಸಾಮಾಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
