OLD STUDENTS MEETING OF ST.PHILOMINAS HR.PR.SCHOOL
General body meeting of the old students Association of the St.Philomina’s Hr.Pr.School was held at the school premises on 4th October at 4.00p.m.
The Association, which was started 3 years ago, has a membership of 122 old students. The Association co-ordinates with the school Head mistress Sister Mari Christi, helps and guides them in activities of the school.

Album of the Konkani Movie KAZAR released again in the UAE during Kemmannu Fest-09.
The Fernandes Productions first ever Konkani movie KAZAR produced by Mr. Frank Fernandes, which is getting ready for the release had its official release of the album recently in Bangalore. Once again there was a soft release of this Album during the Kemmannu Fest 2009 by Mr. Walter Nandalike, Editor-in-chief of Daijiworld Media Network during the celebrations organized by Kemmannu Flowers, UAE.

SVP PATRON’S FEAST CELEBRATED AT KEMMANNU CHURCH
St.Vincent da Paul society, Kemmannu unit, celebrated its patron Fredrick Ozanam’s feast on Sunday 27 September. The celebration began with the Sunday mass in the morning. Unit members conducted the liturgy of the mass. Annual activity report was read out at the end of the mass.

Music Lovers Throng for Billawa Balaga’s Dandiya Masti in Dubai
Dubai, Sep 27: Dubai’s Billawa Balaga added one more feather to their cap when they successfully organized Dandiya Masti 2009 at the air conditioned Al Nasr Leisure land Ice Rink which was enjoyed thoroughly by everyone present.
The huge venue had a crowd of more than 1000 dandiya lovers who danced nonstop to the pulsating beats of ‘Dubai Rockers Band’ who played high class dandiya music. Added to this, famous DJ Salim ensured that the floor was jam packed with his own style of dandiya hits.
