The roads to many Kudru’s were in knee deep water and many students never dared to take the risk to attend their school. All the schools declared holiday in the afternoon and some children were brought back by boats, whose houses are located at the low lying areas. Hitendra Prasad Murder suspect Pitty Nagesh assaulted in Udupi, condition critical in KMC Manipal
Miscreants armed with weapons assaulted Pitty Nagesh near korangrapady, Kukkikatte, Udupi. Nagesh was admitted to KMC Manipal and in a critical condition. Nagesh is suspected for a key role in the murder of Hitendra Prasad, the editor of Hai Murutha kannada fortnightly. The Miscreants arrived in a Maruti Zen followed Hitendra Prasad while he went out for a cup of tea with his friends assaulted and sped away towards karkalla.
