Kemmannu,September 02: 30th year celebrations of Thonse Sarvajanika Ganeshsova began here today with the installation of Ganesha idol at the Bhadrakali Mahamarikamba Temple Gudiyam.
The idol was carried from Hampankatte to the Temple premises in a colorful procession participated by the devotees. Three days of special prayers and other cultural activities will end on Wednesday day, September 04 with the immersion of the idol at the sea.
Thousands of devotees are expected to gather at the temple ground and feel blessed by worshipping the trouble shooter God Lord Ganesha.
Meanwhile Kemmannu wore a festive look as most of the people busy enjoying a day with prayers and special lunch of the day.
Temple committee Office bearers and devotees oversaw the installation ceremony. Along with the religious rituals, cultural programmes and entertainment games are arranged for all 3 days.
