Funfilled Christmas Games and Brotherhood Procession at Kemmannu Church.

Kemmannu, December 25: It was a memorable Christmas Celebration for Kemmannu Parishioners as after celebrating the day with family and friends at home, all joined at church compound for fun games and later to a brotherhood procession and share the joy with non Christian brothers.

Different age level games were organized for different age groups. Children and adults enthusiastically took part and enjoyed the evening. Games like Bombing the stations, Breaking the Pot and Tug of War, both for gents and ladies were a big hits and cheered by the crowd gathered.

Spot Games were held and prizes distributed. Christmas Raffle Cake Draw was held. Best Santa clause competition was held for the kids and prizes distributed. Santa Clause did a grand entry in the evening and distributed chocolates to children.

In the late evening, a Brotherhood Procession was organized from Church to Kemmannu Bridge. Parishioners holding balloons and singing Christmas Carols took part along with Parish Priest Fr. Victor D’ Souza. Fr. Victor delivered the Christmas message at the end both in Konkani and Kannada. Christmas ‘Kuswaar’ packets were distributed to shop owners and passer bys on the way.

Number of Non Residents Kemmannites also actively took part and enjoyed the celebrations.

Like every year Mr. William and Mrs. Dafney Lobo were the main sponsors of sports and sweets. Other visiting parishioners also generously contributed to make the evening a grand success.
