Udupi: Prathiksha Shetty, Kemmannu wins Gold Medal in Senior State Power-lifting championship 2021 -  3 New State Records.

Udupi/Kemmannu, Jan 11, 2021: Prathiksha Shetty daughter of Mrs. Padma Shetty and late Mr. Jayaprakash Shetty from Kodi, Kandala near Babbuswami Temple in Kemmannu made the District proud by securing the Gold Medal in Senior Power lifting Championship 2021 held on the 9th and 10th of January, 2021 at the Glass House, Shree Gokarnanatheshwara Kshetra, Kudroli, Mangaluru.

Prathiksha secured First place in 84+ kg weight class. Squat performance 180 kgs which is a new state record. Bench Press 97.5 k.g which is also a new state record and in D/lift 155 kg, a total performance of 432.5 kgs which is also a new state record.

Prathiksha is Practicing under Mr. Rajendra Ganiga, Veeramaruthi Gym, Saligrama, Udupi.

Mrs. Padma Shetty, Prathiksha’s mother and Pratheeka Shetty sister thanked all the well wishers  for their love and support to Prathiksha said Rtn. Braan D’Souza, who contacted the family to congratulate on behalf Kemmannu News Network and Kemmannu Cricketers.
