Udupi- Under the auspices of Team Kemmannites, under the leadership of Mr. Alfred Crasto, a sports promoter based in Udupi based in Kenya, a KPL Super League cricket tournament was organized on December 21 at the Kemmannu Little Flower Church ground for the benefit of the senior players’ association.

Gautam Shetty, president of Tennis Cricket Association, who participated as the chief guest in the closing ceremony of the tournament, said, "The Udupi District Tennis Cricket Association is a clear example of how the unity of senior players can create a wave of improvement in sports. Kudru Tigers led by Asif.G.D won the first place, Kemmannu Warriors led by Yadav Naik Kemmannu and Kemmannu Warriors won the second place. 2 teams including women players from Kenya, England, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and other countries participated in the exhibition match.

Rev. Father Victor D’Souza of Kemmannu St. Teresa’s Church, KPCC Panelist Mrs. Veronica Cornelio, Chief Organizer of the Tournament Mr. Alfred Crasto were present as the chief guests for the closing ceremony.
