Great to see the lovely pictures of birds,Specially the sandpiper on bengre beach! In my childhoood days we all from kukude n parangi kudru people used to catch,eat and count these sandpiper {In konkani this bird is known as Kudoval}These birds are very famous for us from a long time and they used to come usually after the rain season.I still remeber those days myself,Gasper,Rocky and Eddi had a big compition in catching Kudoval.These birds are very tasty same like Chicken...If you visit Kukude or parangi kudru,still find these birds at swarna river side.
