Accountant & Sr. Accountant

Our one of the leading client is seeking candidates for Accountant & Sr.Accountant positions for their restaurant.

The ideal candidate will have had previous responsibility for one or morehotel/restaurant operation as an Accountant or Sr. Accountant.

Some common responsibilities Include:
* Controlling the payroll
*Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecastsand previous periods
* Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for seniormanagement
* Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supportingschedules according to monthly close schedule
* Assist with financial and tax audits
* Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
* Prepare monthly account reconciliations
* Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projectedroom revenue
*Reconciling bank statements
* Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE
* Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts and keeping a careful eye on thecash flow.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of accounting theory
CPA designation preferred
5+ years accounting/finance experience; CPA a plus, but not required
Highly detail oriented and organized in work
Ability to meet assigned deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees,management to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.

Salary:
Sr. Accountant: 4000 AED to 10000 AED
Accountant: 2500 AED to 5000 AED

Our client is in Food Court Restaurant Business. All over Gulf they have 120branches in UAE, Bahrain(main Office), Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and continue expandingwith below international food concepts.
