Print Heavy rains lashed Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra and people on roads were forced to walk in waist-high water. As the situation improves today, here are some key developments.
* Central Railway suspends services on CSMT-Vashi on harbour line and on CSMT-Kalyan on Main line.
* Train services affected on Central Main and harbour lines, delays expected to continue for some time.
* IMD forecasts downpour in Pune, Mumbai and Nashik today.
* All Air India flights from Mumbai delayed by an average of 30 mins since morning because of crew constraints.
* Mumbai police tweets: If your car is out of fuel/stranded, dial 100 or 8454999999 or tweet us for free towing till the nearest fuel pump or garage.
* Roads are comparatively traffic free as many have avoided going to offices. Traffic on the freeway is smooth but the Andheri subway is flooded.
* Waterlogging is clear all over and the traffic is normal is most of the areas. There is some traffic obstacle in Sion due to vehicles left on road.
