Udupi : As many as 14 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no deaths reported on Friday, October 22, 2021. Total discharges today are 6 and active cases increased to 62

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 11 covid positive cases, 8 cases reported as symptomatic which are 8 male and 3 are female, meanwhile out of 3 cases of asymptomatic  1 is male and 2 are female. 

Among 14 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 6, from Kundapura 3, Karkala taluk is 1 and from other districts is 1. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 4 and at Home Isolation are 10.

Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 21.10.2021 are 1926 and total tested on second wave till 21.10.2021 is 828480. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1196721. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges today on 22.10.2021 during second wave are 6 and total discharges on second wave are 52680.  Total discharges in the district are 76101.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Friday on 22.10.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 286.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 476

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 53028. Total positives in the district are increased to 76639.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Friday for 18 to 44 years first doses are 826 and cumulative total 442438, second dose 5382 cumulative second dose 161567, above 45 years Ist dose are 354 and cumulative total  434861, IInd dose 4176 and cumulative total 287897, for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 23570 and IInd dose 15, cumulative total is 22797, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8080 and IInd dose 28 and cumulative total  is 6535. Total today Ist dose are 3 which cumulative total is 907769, IInd dose 2151, Cumulative total 469195.

Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till today on 21.10.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till today on 21.10.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till today on 21.10.2021 is 6, other districts is 0, Till today 21.10.2021 is 42. No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 21.10.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 53. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 1.
