Thieves steal money kept in parked two-wheelers

Print Mangaluru: Two separate incidents of theft were reported from the city on Friday in which the money kept in the two wheelers was found to be stolen.
The victim of the first incident is Jyothi an employee of Carrier KNND Associates. She had reportedly kept Rs 1.24 lakh that she drew from a bank. She had parked her vehicle near Kottara Cross and had gone to make a purchase, but when she returned she realized that the money had been stolen.
In the second incident, an employee of a cashew industry had kept Rs 1.5 lakh in the company’s two-wheeler and had parked it at JM Road near Bunder. He had gone for tea to a restaurant. However, an individual with a helmet on a bike managed to take the money and flee from the spot.
