Chikkamagaluru: In a shocking incident, a 20-year college student committed suicide allegedly of being threatened by a Hindu outfit and his attempt at insulting her.
The girl has been identified as Dhanya (20) from Mudigere.
It has been reported that a youth belonging to a Hindu outfit started questioning her on being friendly with a youth from a different community. WhatsApp screen shots which went viral had information of Dhanya and his conversation. But it is yet to be verified on the authenticity of these screenshots.
The youth had allegedly threatened her and later met her family members to discuss on the same.
Chikkamagaluru SP has confirmed saying that few youth are already in the custody to enquire more on this.
