Ronald Andrade laid to Rest.

Kemmannu, 10 October 2018: Ronald Andrade (68), the loveable ex Gurkar of Conception Ward of Kemmannu Parish, who passed away on Monday last was accorded a tearful adieu by Family, Parishioners, Relatives and Friends.

Bishop of Udupi Diocese Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Issac Lobo celebrated the Funeral Mass along with 7 other priest including the Rector of Mangalore Diocese.  

Ronald Andrade, the son of late John and Lucy Andrade of Kambla Thotta was married to Maxi Andrade and had two Children, Sharol and Shawn both MSW post graduates. Shawn has joined the Seminary thisyear.

After serving in Muscat for many years Ronald had settled in Kemmannu 13 years ago and was active in Church and social circles. He served as the Ward Head, the Gurkar of Conception Ward Kambla Thotta for 10 years with distinction. He was a deeply religious and humble person ready to serve and help anyone who came to contact with him.

Since the last 9 month he was under treatment for Cardiac related issues but faced health problems with courage and showing no signs of illness. He was very active on Sunday last and was involved with one activity or other after attending the morning Sunday Mass. The end came abruptly Monday early morning.

Death of Ronald is a huge loss for his Family, relatives, friends and parishioners which is hard to accept. The huge crowd of over a Thousand people who attended the funeral service and hundreds who visited his house and consoled the family shows how he was loved by one and all. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Funeral cortege leaves residence 4 pm on Wednesday 10th October, 2018 to  St. Theresa Church Kemmannu followed by mass at 4.30. [Note: Dr. Jerald Issac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi is expected to be the main celebrant of the funeral mass.]
