Mangalore:Marks & Spencer (M&S),one of the most trusted British fashion retailer, embarks on its expansion with the launch of its 81ststore in Forum Fiza Mall, Mangalore today. The new 7000 square foot store showcases the best of Marks & Spencer’s quality clothing and accessories across Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Lingerie and Beauty from the brand’s latest collection. It is the retailer’s first store in Mangalore and 7thstore in Karnataka.
The new store opening in Mangalore is the latest demonstration of M&S’ commitment to India, the fastest growing international market for the company. M&S opened its first store in 2001 and has grown to 80stores across 34 cities, including 25 stores in emerging markets such as Aurangabad and Bhopal, alongside an increasing presence in online marketplaces.
Along with expansion M&S’s latest efforts in India also include a new campaign with a deep understanding of the evolving Indian customer. This year, Marks & Spencer launched its first India specific marketing campaign ‘Rethink’ in order to remain relevant to the market and offer bespoke services to their customers. With Rethink M&S offers expert style advice and aims to become the ideal fashion partner to help Indian customers rethink their style and overcome their style dilemmas. There is also a presence of in-store stylists in select stores to guide consumers to break fashion boundaries and bring more versatility to the wardrobe.
Customers visiting the new store will be able to shop M&S’s latest season collections, including fashionable wardrobe essentials, casual attires, quality footwear and accessories, starting at INR 599 in Womenswear, INR 599 in Menswear, INR 499 in Kidswear, INR 499 in Lingerie and INR 399 for Beauty.
The store opened today will showcase the Autumn 19 range which goes right fromsoft checks to floral knitted together through tonal separates, making effortless style take the centre stage.From warms colours of muted browns, rusts and maroons to shades of magenta and richer blues. Highlight hues are layered in for a subtle update, for a real sense of cohesion and harmony across the seasons. The collection is tailor made so consumers can choose from a wide range of edits that has something for all occasions. Lingerie and sleepwear collections offer vibrant colour palettes and delicate prints across a variety of styles alongside a dedicated beauty offer of skincare, fragrance and bath and body products.
