The Consulate General of India in Dubai has opened its help line numbers for the well-being of passengers and crew of the Air India Express flight IX 1344 from Dubai to Kozhikode.
The Consulate tweeted, "Air India Express Flight No IX 1344 from Dubai to Calicut skidded off the runway. We pray for well-being of passengers and crew and will keep you updated as and when we receive further updates."
The helpline numbers are - 056 546 3903, 0543090572, 0543090572, 0543090575.
In a second tweet, the Consulate announced, "Air India Express has also established a helpline number in Sharjah at 06 5970303. People can call them as well for updates. Full details of injured and casualties are awaited."
Similarly, the Indian Association in Sharjah has also launched a similar helpline number. Association president EP Johnson told Khaleej Times, "Those in need can call us on the following numbers - 050 - 3675770, 050 4828472, and 050 6266546."
