Print Mangalore University: Inauguration, foundation laying on July 8
The inauguration of new building of Geography Department (RUSA fund) and P.G department of studies in Geography, and foundation laying for the SC/ST ladies hostel (CAFES) will be held at Mangalore University Indoor stadium on July 8 (Friday) at 11 am.
Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will inaugurate the new buildings, while Minister of Social Welfare and Backward Classes Department Kota Shrinivas Poojary will lay foundation for the ladies hostel. Mangalore University Syndicate Member Prof. M S Talavar will be the guest of honour. Vice Chancellor Prof. P Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya will preside over the stage function.
Registrar Prof. Kishore Kumar C K, Executive Engineer Devi Prasad M, Department of Geography Coordinator Dr. Dasharatha P. Angadi, Department of Computer Science Professor Dr. B H Shekhar will be present among others, said a press release.
