Visiting docs behaved rudely, alleges pastor

The Divine Generation Ministries Bethel Church Trust President Pastor Sunil John D’Souza alleged that government hospital doctors who visited the orphanage Vishwasada Mane behaved rudely and have accused them of illegal activities which is totally untrue.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, the pastor said that both Dr Vasudev and Dr Mohan Nayak, the doctors from government hospital who visited the Vishwasada Mane directed them not to take care of destitute and instead they should abandon the orphans, mentally challenged people and also aged people.
They behaved badly with the staff of the orphanage. “We are not into any sort of illegal activities as alleged by the doctors who came to inspect the orphanage,” the Pastor said and added that a complaint has been forwarded to DC Dr M T Reju who has assured to look into the matter.
As many as five people who were admitted to Vishwasada mane suffering with a mental condition have now recovered and are being sent back to their places.
The entire expenses of these people are borne by the Trust. Bujanga who was admitted in the Mane one year ago is now absolutely perfect. He is being sent back to his home in Kundapur.
Another person Eshwar who was with Vishwasada Mane since two and half years is from Pune.
He was found in Mangalore. Seema from Nagpur is now perfectly fine and is eager to go back. She was in the orphanage since four years.
Kalyani is from Savantvadi in Goa who was brought to Vishwasada Mane two and half years ago. Sonamma is from Dandeli and she is in the orphanage since two years, he said.
“The pastor said there are many donors who support our organisation. However we need government support to run the orphanage which acts as psychiatric rehabilitation centre and also old age home for destitute,” he said.
